Wolverines win Thiel Invitational

GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team captured the team title at the Thiel College Invitational Saturday at the Greens of Greenville. The Wolverines compiled a four-man score of 331 to earn the crown. Westminster finished second at 334 while Point Park placed third at 335.

Sophomore Will Moyer (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shady Side Academy) earned medalist honors in the seven-team event by shooting a 76. Point Park's Dave Kowalski and Alex Richert tied for second with 77s.

Freshman Blake Brogan (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) finished seventh in the field with an 80.

Grove City will compete in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships Monday and Tuesday at Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa.
