Grove City finishes 7th at SVC
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's golf team finished seventh out of 11 teams at the Saint Vincent Invitational Thursday at Latrobe Country Club. The Wolverines hot a total team score of 338. Allegheny's Gold team won the title with a 319.
Three Grove City players shot 83, tying for 19th overall in the 57-golfer field. Junior Blake Brogan (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing), freshman Brian Giesler (Harrisville, Pa./Slippery Rock) and sophomore Conor Eckhardt (Strasburg, Ohio/Strasburg) all carded 83s.
Mercyhurst's Jake Pilarski earned medalist with a 77.
Grove City will return to action Saturday at the Thiel Invitational in Greenville.
