Grove City 4th at Siena Heights
TECUMSEH, Mich. -- The Grove City College men's golf team placed fourth out of 10 teams Friday afternoon at the Siena Heights (Mich.) Invitational, held at Hantz Golf Club. The Wolverines accumulated a team score of 332. Siena Heights won the event with a 319, followed by Northwestern Ohio (323) and Grand Rapids Community College (326).
Sophomore Christian Locher (Mars, Pa./Mars) led the Wolverines with a fourth-place finish as he shot a 79. Junior Conor Eckhardt (Strasburg, Ohio/Strasburg) shot an 81, good for eighth in the 58-golfer field.
The Wolverines will compete in the Saint Vincent Invitational Thursday in Latrobe, Pa.
