Wolverine streak stopped at five

GROVE CITY, PA, October 25, 2000--The Grove City College men's soccer team had its five-game unbeaten streak snapped on Wednesday as nationally-ranked Carnegie Mellon escaped with a 1-0 victory.
  The Wolverines fell to 8-7-1 overall, while visiting CMU improved to 12-2-0.

The Tartans, who outshot Grove City 13-8, tallied the game's only goal in the 35th minute off the foot of Matt Crummy.

Wolverine sophomore goalkeeper Brad Smith (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) was credited with nine saves.
