Grove City improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, while Bethany, winner of the last 21 conference titles, dropped to 3-4 overall, 1-2 in the PAC.
Crefeld netted the game-winner -- his first goal of the season -- off a pass from senior Brian Williams (Charlotte, NC/First Assembly).Junior goalkeeper Brad Smith (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) made five saves to preserve his 13th career shutout. Bethany out-shot Grove City, 11-7.
