Titans top Wolverines, 2-1
NEW WILMINGTON, PA, October 12, 2001--Senior Brian Williams (Charlotte, NC/First Assembly)
gave the Wolverines a 1-0 lead in the 73rd minute at Westminster on Friday, but the host
Titans rallied with two short-handed goals in the final 10 minutes to post a 2-1 victory.
Williams' goal, his second of the season, came off a pass from senior Geoff Swanson (Burlington, CT/The Master's School).
Westminster, who played a man down after being assessed a red card, outshot the Wolverines, 11-8.
Grove City's record dropped to 9-4 overall.
