Westminster slips past Grove City, 2-1

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- A header from Dustin King (Castalia, Ohio/Margaretta) in the 36th minute gave Grove City a 1-0 lead but Westminster (7-3-2, 6-0-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference) scored twice in the second half and completed a season sweep of the Wolverines Wednesday afternoon at College Field.

King headed a pass from Peter Williams (Charlotte, N.C./First Assembly) into the net, putting Grove City (2-8-2, 1-4-1 PAC) ahead. However, Westminster's Mike Arrigo tied the match in the 63rd minute and Matthew Roser scored the game-winner 12 minutes later.

Brad Smith (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) made seven saves for Grove City. Westminster out-shot Grove City, 20-17. The teams combined for 35 fouls and five yellow cards were issued, all to Westminster players.
