Wolverines nip Pitt-Bradford, 1-0 

BRADFORD, Pa. -- Freshman Nate Jones (Manassas, Va./Emmanuel Christian) broke a scoreless tie in the 78th minute Wednesday afternoon, helping the Grove City College men's soccer team (3-9-2) nip host Pitt-Bradford, 1-0, in non-conference action.

Jones scored on an assist by senior Matt Johnson (Titusville, Pa./Titusville). The goal was Jones' second of the season. In goal, senior Brad Smith (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) made six saves for his third shutout in 2002. Grove City out-shot Pitt-Bradford (5-12), 16-10.
