Grove City rallies for overtime victory at Behrend

ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team won its fifth straight match Wednesday, coming from behind for a 2-1 overtime victory at Penn State Behrend in non-conference action.

Grove City (7-2-1) fell behind 1-0 early in the second half but forged a tie on an unassisted goal from sophomore Nathaniel Jones (Haymarket, Va./Emmanuel Christian) in the 74th minute, his fifth of the season.

In overtime, sophomore Adam Ludwig (Farmington, N.M./Farmington) scored his third goal of the season with just 23 seconds left in the first extra session to give the Wolverines the win.

Sophomore goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) stopped eight shots to pick up the win. Behrend out-shot Grove City, 22-13.

Grove City will host national power Messiah Saturday at 1 p.m.
