Wolverines' five-match win streak snapped
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team had its five-match win streak come to end Saturday with a 4-0 loss to defending Division III national champion Messiah at College Field.
The Falcons (6-2-2) out-shot Grove City 26-6 and jumped out to a 3-0 lead by halftime. Sophomore goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) stopped eight shots for the Wolverines, who fell to 7-3-1.
Grove City hosts Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Westminster Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
