Grove City stays atop Presidents' Athletic Conference

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team (7-3-2, 5-0-1 PAC) battled to a 0-0 double-overtime draw with Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Westminster Wednesday, keeping the Wolverines undefeated in the league.

Grove City had a chance to potentially win the match in the final seconds of the second overtime but Westminster goalkeeper Kevin Humberston stopped a penalty kick from senior Mike Koper (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin).

Westminster (5-7-1, 4-1-1 PAC) out-shot Grove City, 17-11. Grove City goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) stopped five shots for the Wolverines, who will host Lake Erie in non-conference action Thursday at 4 p.m.
