Penn State Altoona stops Grove City
ALTOONA, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team (8-4-2) fell to host Penn State Altoona Tuesday night 2-0 in non-conference action.
Sophomore goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) stopped four shots for Grove City. Penn State Altoona out-shot the Wolverines 6-2. Driving rain fell throughout the match.
Grove City will visit Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Washington and Jefferson Friday night. Grove City head coach Dr. Don Lyle currently has 249 career victories.
