Presidents end Grove City's unbeaten PAC run
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Host Washington and Jefferson pulled out a 2-0 victory over Grove City in Presidents' Athletic Conference men's soccer action Friday night at Cameron Stadium, snapping the Wolverines' six-match unbeaten streak in PAC play.
Washington and Jefferson's Andy Komar scored a pair of goals in the second half to lift the Presidents (8-6-1, 6-2 PAC) to the victory. Sophomore goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) made three saves for Grove City (8-5-2, 5-1-1).
Grove City will play its annual Hall of Fame game Saturday at 10:30 a.m., featuring Wolverine alumni.
