Wolverines fall to Behrend
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team out-shot visiting Penn State Behrend, 16-10, Wednesday afternoon but the Wolverines could not extend their win streak to three as Behrend pulled out a 1-0 victory at College Field in non-conference action.
Behrend's Luke Goldner scored off a corner kick in the 86th minute to put the Lions ahead. Grove City goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) made five saves.
The Wolverines (4-3) return to action Saturday at Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Westminster.
