Bethany downs Grove City in PAC action
BETHANY, W. Va. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team fell to 4-5 overall and 1-2 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 3-0 loss at PAC rival Bethany Monday afternoon.
The Bison (5-4, 1-1 PAC) took a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute as Myles McKenzie scored off a corner kick. Bethany doubled its lead in the second half as Tim Fratto scored in the 48th minute. Brian Bajek's goal in the 56th minute capped the scoring.
Junior goalkeeper Joel Gladfelter (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) stopped two shots. The Bison out-shot Grove City 12-6. The Wolverines return to action Wednesday afternoon at Thiel.
