Westminster nips Wolverines, 1-0
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team fell to 6-4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday afternoon with a 1-0 loss at conference rival Westminster.
The Titans (6-4-2, 1-1 PAC) broke a scoreless tie at 64:37 as Andrew Saporito scored his sixth goal of the season for Westminster. Westminster owned a 14-7 edge in shots. Grove City had eight corner kicks while the Titans managed three.
In goal, junior Michael Manahan (State College, Pa./State College) stopped five shots.
Grove City will host Bethany in a PAC match Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
