Thomas More nips Grove City, 1-0
WILDER, Ky. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team fell to 1-1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Wednesday afternoon with a 1-0 setback against host Thomas More in a PAC match at the Town & Country Complex. Grove City is now 4-6-4 overall.
Thomas More (10-2, 3-1) led 1-0 at the half and held on for the victory. Grove City owned a 9-8 edge in shots. In goal, senior Michael Manahan (State College, Pa./State College) stopped four shots for the Wolverines. Each team had two corner kicks. The loss snaps Grove City's four-game unbeaten streak.
Grove City will return to action Tuesday, October 16 against visiting Washington & Jefferson in a PAC match at College Field at 4 p.m.
