B-W blanks Grove City
BEREA, Ohio -- Host Baldwin-Wallace scored twice in each half Saturday night on its way to a 4-0 victory over Grove City in non-conference men's soccer action at George Finnie Stadium.
B-W (5-0) took a 1-0 lead at the 6:04 mark on a goal from Carlin Vandendriessche. Ten minutes later, Tyler Leister scored to double the lead. In the second half, Cory Kovach scored at 58:00 for Baldwin-Wallace while Andy Weidner closed the scoring at 65:53.
For Grove City, junior Sean Osborne (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) made his first career start in goal and made seven saves. Baldwin-Wallace owned a 17-8 advantage in shots. B-W also had a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
Grove City (0-5-1) will host Penn State Behrend Wednesday at 4 p.m. in non-conference action.
