Grove City earns tie at Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team held host Penn State Altoona (0-6-3) to just two shots over the final 65 minutes Saturday evening in earning a 0-0 double-overtime draw in non-conference play.

Grove City (1-5-2) owned a 16-9 edge in shots along with an 8-7 advantage in corner kicks. In goal, junior Sean Osborne (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) recorded his first career shutout by making two saves. It is Grove City's first shutout of the season.

Goalkeeper Chris Bolea stopped seven shots for Penn State Altoona.

Grove City will return to action Tuesday afternoon against visiting Carnegie Mellon at 4 p.m.
