Wolverines nipped 1-0
ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team fell to 2-2-1 overall Wednesday afternoon as the Wolverines dropped a 1-0 verdict to host Penn State Behrend in non-conference action.
Behrend (4-1-1) took a 1-0 lead at 4:12 as Aaron Meehl scored on a corner kick. Behrend out-shot Grove City 7-2. The Lions also held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks over Grove City.
In goal, senior Sean Osborne (Manassas, Va./Osbourn) stopped two shots. He now has an 0.64 goals-against average on the season.
Grove City will host Baldwin-Wallace Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at College Field.
