Penn State-Behrend 2, Grove City 1


October 7, 1998--The Grove City College men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to visiting Penn State-Behrend College Wednesday in soggy conditions at the College Field.

Sophomore Michael Koerber (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) put the Wolverines up 1-0 at halftime with his second goal of the season off a pass from freshman Matt Moran (Grove City, PA/Grove City).  The Lions overcame the deficit with two goals in the final 22 minutes of regulation.

Grove City fell to 6-6-0 overall, while Behrend improved to 7-6-0.

The Wolverines host Westminster College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
