Loew earns All-Region

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College sophomore men's soccer player Seth Loew (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) earned Third Team All-Great Lakes Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Monday afternoon.

Loew became the first Grove City sophomore to ever earn All-Region honors and is one of just four sophomores among the 37 Great Lakes Region honorees. Overall, he is the first player to earn All-Region honors since former standout Josh Kern was named to the Second Team in 2011.

Loew was one of just four players to start all 19 matches this year for the Wolverines (8-5-6 overall) and led the team in goals (9) and points (21) while sharing the team lead in assists (3) . He also earned First Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference accolades for the second straight year.

Through his first two seasons, Loew has recorded 15 goals and six assists in 38 matches.

Loew became the fifth Grove City player to earn NSCAA All-Region honors since 2003. Kern (2011), Chuck Witt (2010), Bob McNees (2006) and Mike Koper (2003) are Grove City's other All-Region selections during that period.
