Behrend tops Grove City
ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Penn State Behrend Wednesday night in non-conference action.
Behrend's Eric Vunovic scored once in each half to account for the scoring. He scored at 19:03 to break a scoreless tie. Vunovic losed the scoring with an unassisted goal at 63:36.
Penn State Behrend (3-1-1) owned an 11-9 edge in shots. Both teams had four corner kicks.
Sophomore goalkeeper Brenden Alfery (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) stopped five shots for Grove City (1-3-1).
The Wolverines host Baldwin-Wallace Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in non-conference play.
