Grove City 2, Mount Union 1


September 19, 1998--The Wolverine soccer team evened its season record to 3-3 with a 2-1 win at Mount Union College Saturday.

Grove City opened the scoring seven minutes into the first half on a goal by senior Greg Lucht (Erie, PA/Fairview), assisted by junior Adam Seybold (Grove City, PA/Grove City).  Freshman Brian Williams (Charlotte, NC/First Assembly) put the Wolverines up 2-0 before intermission with a tally at 17:24 off a pass from sophomore Cory Nordman (New Fairfield, CT/New Fairfield).

Freshman goalkeeper Mario Ambrosia (Lebanon, PA/Lebanon Catholic) shined in the net with 12 saves.

The Wolverines, winners of two straight, host a PAC affair against Thiel College on Monday, September 21, at 4:00 p.m.
