Wolverines Drop Opener at Allegheny MEADVILLE, PA, September 1, 1999--The Grove City College men's soccer team was outshot 18 to 6 in a 4-1 season-opening loss at Allegheny College on Wednesday. Chris Crefeld (Lakehurst, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) trimmed Allegheny's lead to 2-1 with the Wolverines' lone goal midway through the second half off a pass from Matt Johnson (Titusville, PA/Titusville). David Kirkwood and Peter Malgieri had two goals each for the Gators. |
