Wolverines Record First Shutout GREENSBURG, PA, September 8, 1999--The Wolverine soccer team posted its second straight victory on Wednesday, blanking host Pitt-Greensburg, 1-0. Steve Harley (Collegeville, PA/Methacton) netted the game's only goal off a pass from Bryan Williams (Charlotte, NC/First Assembly) in the first half. It was Harley who scored the game-winner in Saturday's 2-1 win over Ursinus. Eric Golz (Wadsworth, OH/Wadsworth) made seven saves to register his
first shutout of the season. |
