GCC Beats Bradford In OT


GROVE CITY, PA, October 18, 1999--Mike Bluman (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) buried a centering pass from left winger Michael Koerber (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) eight minutes into overtime to give Grove City a 2-1 win over visiting Pitt-Bradford Monday.  The victory extended the Wolverines' winning streak to three games and upped their record to 8-5-1 overall.

Koerber also set up the Wolverines' first goal, feeding Steve Harley (Collegeville, PA/Methacton), who netted his team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 13th minute.  Pitt-Bradford tied the game before halftime with a goal in the 29th minute.

Bluman's goal and Koerber's two assists marked the first points of the season for each.

Grove City out-shot Pitt-Bradford, 20-1, as the Panthers fell to 5-9-1.
