ASSISTANT COACH RYAN EDWARDS

Ryan Edwards enters his fourth season as an assistant men's soccer coach at Grove City College.

Edwards joined the Grove City program prior to the start of the 2010 season and helped the Wolverines to a 15-6-2 mark, along with a berth in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Southern Championship Tournament finals.

Overall, Grove City owns a 36-21-5 mark with Edwards on the coaching staff.

Edwards came to Grove City after playing four seasons at perennial national powerhouse Messiah College. He helped the Falcons to national titles in 2004, 2005 and 2006. As a senior in 2007, Edwards helped Messiah advance to the national semifinals.

While at Messiah, Edwards worked at the school's summer camps. He also worked at the United States Naval Academy's summer soccer camp.

Edwards works as a chemistry teacher for the Grove City Area School District. He lives in Grove City with his wife, Lynn.
