Grove City downs Purple Raiders

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Andrew Gilbert (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) won both the 100 free (51.30) and 100 breaststroke (1:02.72) to help the Grove City College men's swim team improve to 3-1 with a 113-84 win over visiting Mount Union Thursday night.

Rich Korb (Belcamp, Md./John Carroll) won the 500 in 5:09.02 while Matt Ziders (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) captured the 100 butterfly in a time of 52.23. Matt Gibson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) prevailed in the 200 free (1:54.52) while Mike Shantz (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) won the 1-meter diving competition.
