Presidents slip past Grove City in PAC meet
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team (4-3) fell to visiting Washington and Jefferson Saturday afternoon, 126-105, in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at College Pool.
Senior Drew McKelvy (Portersville, Pa./Jubilee Christian) won both the 100 (49.08) and 200 freestyle (1:47.39) races for Grove City, which is 1-2 in PAC dual meets this season.
McKelvy, John Newell (Butler, Pa./Butler), Luke Wiedeman (Beltsville, Md./Cedar Brook) and Matt Gibson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) won the 400 free relay in 3:21.53.
Grove City will return to action Wednesday night at home against Penn State Behrend.
