GRANVILLE, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team dropped a 182-90 verdict at defending NCAA Division III national champion Denison Saturday afternoon in a non-conference dual meet at Gregory Pool.

Senior Kirk Gagliardo (Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township) recorded a pair of runner-up finishes for Grove City. He took second in the 50 free with a time of 21.40 seconds and also earned second in the 100 free with a time of 46.73 seconds.

Gagliardo, senior Nick Hamilton (Crescent, Pa./Moon), sophomore C.P. Delhi (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) and junior Eric Fairchild (Corry, Pa./Corry) combined for a runner-up time of 3:14.07 in the 400 free relay.

Grove City (4-5) will host Wooster in non-conference action next Saturday at 1 p.m. in the James E. Longnecker Pool.
