PITTSBURGH -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team dropped a 191-97 decision at Carnegie Mellon Saturday afternoon in a non-conference dual meet at Skibo Gymnasium.

Sophomore Richie Klimek (Oakdale, Pa./South Fayette) led Grove City (1-2) by sweeping the diving events. He won 1-meter diving with 210.30 points and then won 3-meter diving with 223.79 points.

Senior Eric Fairchild (Corry, Pa./Corry) led Grove City in the swimming events with a runner-up finish in the 50 free. Fairchild posted a time of 22.27 seconds.

Grove City will compete in a quad meet at Kenyon College next Saturday. Case Western and Gannon will also compete in the event.
