Wolverines whip Gators

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team opened the dual meet segment of the 2013-14 schedule Saturday afternoon by earning a 160-124 win at Allegheny in non-conference action.

Junior diver Richie Klimek (Oakdale, Pa./South Fayette) swept the diving events for Grove City. He won 1-meter diving with 226.13 points and then posted a winning total of 232.73 points in 3-meter competition.

Freshman Drew Nosbisch (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) earned two swimming victories for Grove City. He won the 200 free in 1 minute, 48.82 seconds and then took the 400 individual medley in 4:25.58.

Senior C.P. Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) won the 100 backstroke (58.15) while freshman Jeremy Kim (Frederick, Md./New Life Christian) took the 200 butterfly in 2:02.73.

C.P. Dehli, sophomore Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River), freshman Daniel Peng (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) and junior Caleb McKusick (Waconia, Minn./Homeschooled) closed the meet by winning the 200 free relay in 1:29.19.

The Wolverines return to action next Saturday when they visit Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Saint Vincent.
