Wolverines top Saint Vincent

LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team improved to 2-0 overall by picking up a 142-120 win at Saint Vincent Saturday afternoon in Presidents' Athletic Conference dual meet action at the Carey Center.

Freshman Drew Nosbisch (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) recorded three individual victories for Grove City. He won the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, 1.11 seconds, then took the 500 free in 4:56.22. Nosbisch then prevailed in the 200 individual medley with a winning time of 2:03.49.

Freshman Jeremy Kim (Frederick, Md./New Life Christian) won the 200 butterfly (2:00.50) while sophomore Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) captured the 50 free in 22.23 seconds. Sophomore Jim Bossert (Colorado Springs, Colo./Pine Creek) took the 200 backstroke in 2:08.16.

Nosbisch, senior C.P. Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River), senior E.J. Leuschner (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian) and junior Caleb McKusick (Waconia, Minn./Homeschooled) closed the meet by winning the 400 free relay in 3:18.24.

Grove City will host Carnegie Mellon and Rochester in a double dual meet next Saturday at 1 p.m.
