Wheeling Jesuit edges Wolverines

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team dropped a 146-138 decision to visiting Wheeling Jesuit Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at the James E. Longnecker Pool.

Two Grove City performers posted multiple wins Saturday. Junior diver Richie Klimek (Oakdale, Pa./South Fayette) swept both boards. He won 1-meter competition with 238.25 points and then prevailed on the 3-meter board with 253.70 points.

Freshman Drew Nosbisch (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) earned two swimming victories. He won the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, 1.09 seconds and then took the 100 butterfly in 54.40 seconds.

Freshman Jeremy Kim (Frederick, Md./New Life Christian) won the 200 butterfly (2:00.29) while sophomore Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) took the 50 free in 22.34 seconds.

Nosbisch, senior C.P. Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River), junior Caleb McKusick (Waconia, Minn./Homeschooled) and Jordan Dehli closed the meet by winning the 200 free relay in 1:27.18.

Grove City (2-3) will compete in the Case Western Quad next Saturday in Cleveland.
