Wolverines swim at Case

CLEVELAND -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team competed at the Case Western Reserve Quad Saturday afternoon at the Veale Center. Division II Gannon pulled out a 148-135 win over Grove City. The Wolverines also dropped a 222.5-67.5 decision to Case Western and a 244-54 verdict to Kenyon.

Grove City closed the meet by taking third in the 200 free relay. The quartet of freshman Daniel Peng (Indiana, Pa./Indiana), junior Caleb McKusick (Waconia, Minn./Homeschooled), senior C.P. Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) and sophomore Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) posted a time of 1 minute, 26.76 seconds.

Junior Mac Clyde (Mars, Pa./Mars) took fourth in 1-meter diving with 135.85 points and junior Richie Klimek (Oakdale, Pa./South Fayette) finished fourth on the 3-meter board with 218.45 points.

Freshman Drew Nosbisch (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) captured sixth in both the 200 free (1:47.68) and 100 breaststroke (1:01.98).

Grove City returns to action December 5-7 at the Kenyon College Total Performance Invitational.
