Grove City lands 12 on All-PAC Teams

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Twelve members of the Grove City College men's swimming and diving team earned All-Presidents' Athletic Conference honors in recognition of their respective performances at last weekend's James E. Longnecker Invitational/Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships.

Senior Dave Bossert (Colorado Springs, Colo./Pine Creek), senior C.P. Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River), sophomore Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River), freshman Jeremy Kim (Frederick, Md./New Life Christian), junior Caleb McKusick (Waconia, Minn./Homeschooled) and freshman Drew Nosbisch (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) all earned First Team honors.

Second Team recognition went to sophomore Jim Bossert (Colorado Springs, Colo./Pine Creek), senior Louis Gabriele (Mahwah, N.J./Don Bosco Prep), senior E.J. Leuschner (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian), freshman Jake Marino (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford), junior Ben Satre (Hockessin, Del./Homeschooled) and senior Noah Walker (Lexington, Ky./Homeschooled).

Dave Bossert earned runner-up honors in the 1650 with a time of 16 minutes, 49.12 seconds. He also took fifth in the 500 free (4:52.21) and 400 individual medley (4:15.03).

C.P. Dehli contributed to Grove City's victorious 200 free relay squad, which posted a winning time of 1:24.91. He also took fourth in the 100 free (48.00) and fourth in the 100 butterfly (52.54). Jordan Dehli also competed on the 200 free relay team.

Kim provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 butterfly with a victorious time of 1:53.10. He also took second in the 500 free (4:39.79) and third in the 200 free (1:44.80).

McKusick competed on Grove City winning 200 free relay as well as the runner-up 200 medley relay squad (1:35.15). Nosbisch joined McKusick and the Dehli brothers on the 200 free relay. He also earned runner-up in the 100 butterfly (52.03) and third in the 500 (4:43.98).

Jim Bossert joined C.P. Dehli, McKusick and Nosbisch on Grove City's runner-up 400 free relay (3:08.79) and also completed on both the runner-up 200 medley relay and the second-place 800 free relay squad (7:01.51). Bossert also finished fourth in the 100 back (53.22), 200 back (1:55.59) and 200 IM (1:57.47).

Gabriele swam on both medley relay squads and added a runner-up finish in the 100 breaststroke (58.52). He also finished third in the 200 breast (2:07.12) and 200 IM (1:57.25).

Leuschner competed on the 800 free relay team and also finished fifth in the 200 free (1:45.57). Marino took seventh in the 100 back (54.53). Satre contributed to the 400 medley relay. He added third-place finishes in both the 100 (52.07) and 200 (1:54.91) butterfly. Walker earned fourth in the 400 IM (4:14.17).

The all-conference swimming and diving teams are determined by a formula-based selection process using student-athletes' individual and relay finishes at the conference's annual swimming and diving championships.

Grove City earned its sixth conference title in the last seven seasons.
