Grove City drops double-dual to Case, Gannon

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's swimming and diving team dropped a double-dual meet to Case Western and Gannon on Saturday afternoon at Case Western's Veale Natatorium. The Wolverines fell to the host Spartans 220-74 and were defeated by the Knights 191-97.

Three Grove City men earned victories. Junior Jeremy Kim (Frederick, Md./New Life Christian) won the 200 butterfly with a winning time of 2 minutes, 0.74 seconds.

Sophomore Sam Archibald (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) won 3-meter diving with 121.30 points while freshman Matt Schallus (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seneca Valley) won 1-meter diving with 112.40 points.

Grove City will visit Case Western next Saturday for a tri-meet with Case Western and Gannon at 1 p.m.
