Wolverines fall at Westminster

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City men's swimming and diving team fell to Presidents' Athletic Conference archrival Westminster 180-109 on Thursday night at the Westminster Natatorium.

Freshman Rhys Dickhudt (Troy, Mich./Bloomfield Christian) and sophomore Sam Archibald (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) each earned a pair of individual runner-up finishes to lead the Wolverines. Dickhudt finished second in the 100 fly (54.14) and the 200 fly (2:00.08) while Archibald earned second-place laurels in both the 1-meter (148.50) and 3-meter (126.40) diving competitions.

Senior Jordan Dehli (Moneta, Va./Staunton River) took second in the 50 free in 22.22 seconds while freshman Dane Hoselton (Naples, N.Y./Naples Central) was second in the 100 back in 55.60 seconds. Senior Tim Bergquist (Kent, Wash./Kentridge) finished second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:19.04.

Hoselton, junior Josiah Vehrs (Fresno, Calif./Homeschooled), sophomore Brett Gwynn (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield) and Dehli combined for a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay in 1:38.06 while Dehli, junior Jake Marino (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford), sophomore Andrew Kisak (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) and Vehrs finished second in the 400 free relay in 3:18.22 to close the meet.

Grove City closes its regular season on Saturday, visiting Bethany for a 1 p.m. conference meet.
