Grove City 125, W&J 88


January 16, 1999--The Wolverine swimming and diving team posted its second decisive win over a Presidents' Athletic Conference opponent in four days, defeating host Washington and Jefferson College, 125-88.

Senior Todd Baumgartner (Grafton, OH/St. Edward) highlighted the winning effort with first-place swims in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:50.27) and the 500 free (5:04.35).   Baumgartner also swam a leg on the winning 400 freestyle relay.

Grove City improved to 5-3 overall and will host rival Westminster College on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
