Grove City Beats Frostburg, 107-92 Meet Results GROVE CITY, PA, November 20, 1999--Luke Downer (Daytona Beach, FL/Warner Christian) and Steve Johnston (North Wales, PA/North Penn) claimed victory in two individual events as the Wolverines eased past visiting Frostburg State, 107-92, Saturday afternoon. Downer, last week's Presidents' Athletic Conference swimmer of the week, won the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:19.75) and the 500 freestyle (4:58.43). Johnston took the 50 (:22.61) and 100 free (:49.39). Grove City upped its dual meet record to 2-1. |
