Westminster Defeats GCC NEW WILMINGTON, PA, January 25, 2000--Steve Johnston (North Wales, PA/North Penn) posted first and second-place swims, but the Wolverines dropped a 105-85 decision at Westminster on Tuesday. Johnston touched out Westminster's Brian Lytle by nine one-hundreths of a second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of :49.36. Johnston also collected second-place points in the 200 individual medley, finishing in 2:05.92. Bruce Unks (Glenshaw, PA/Shaler) chipped in with a second-place time of 2:11.34 in the 200 butterfly. Grove City fell to 4-3 overall and will conclude its dual meet schedule Saturday, January 29, when Baldwin-Wallace visits the College Pool for a 1:00 p.m. start. |
