Grove City falls to
Concordia (WI), 5-2
HILTON HEAD, SC, March 27, 2002--Sophomore Patrick Donahue won a super
tiebreaker to claim first singles and freshman Andrew Geisler extended his
winning streak to seven at sixth singles with a three-set victory, but the Wolverine tennis team dropped a 5-2
decision to Concordia College (WI) Wednesday in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Seniors Nick Zapf and Chris Spiker posted a win at second doubles, however Concordia took first and third doubles to secure one doubles point in the seven-point scoring system.
Grove City is now 3-2 on its spring trip, 4-3 overall.
