GCC beats Slippery Rock for
third year in a row
SLIPPERY ROCK, PA, April 4, 2002--The Grove City College men's tennis team
rallied from down 2-1 in doubles to win four of six singles matches and edge
NCAA Division II rival Slippery Rock University, 5-4, at The Rock on Thursday.
The win marked the Wolverines' sixth in their last seventh matches and improved their overall record to 7-3.
Grove City has defeated Slippery Rock by a 5-4 margin in each of the past three seasons.
