Wolverine win streak halted at Malone

CANTON, OH, April 8, 2002--The Grove City College men's tennis team had its four-match winning streak snapped Monday, falling at Malone College by a final count of 6-3.

Junior Geoff Gehring (Madison, OH/Madison) notched a pair of victories, winning at fourth singles and teaming with sophomore Steve Light (Lancaster, PA/Manheim Central) to take third doubles. Freshman Andrew Geisler (Bradford, PA/Bradford) won in the sixth position to boost his singles record to 11-1 on the season.

Grove City dropped to 8-4 overall.
