Grove City picks up 12th win by defeating Allegheny

GROVE CITY, Pa. -- For the first time since 1993, the Grove City College men's tennis team defeated regional rival Allegheny, nailing down an 8-1 victory Tuesday afternoon. The Wolverines had dropped nine consecutive matches to the Gators before Tuesday's win.

The victory is Grove City's 12th in 13 matches and raises the Wolverines' record to 12-2 on the season. It is Grove City's first 12-win season since 1997 and just the fifth time in school history Grove City has reached 12 wins in a year.
