Grove City nips Hartwick

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory over Hartwick (N.Y.) Saturday evening in Hilton Head, S.C., raising the Wolverines' record to 7-1 on the season.

Junior Phil Springirth's (Erie, Pa./Harborcreek) victory at fourth singles sealed the victory for Grove City, breaking a 3-3 tie. Hartwick earned one point for winning two of the three doubles matches.

It is the Wolverines' 22nd win in their last 24 matches.
