Wolverines improve to 2-1

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team improved to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Thursday with an 8-1 victory over host Westminster in PAC action.

Grove City swept all six singles matches in the win. The victory is the 299th in the career of 34th-year Grove City head coach Joe Walters. Walters has a 288-111 record as men's coach. He also posted an 11-1 record as head women's coach in 2004.

Grove City will open the home portion of the season Monday afternoon against conference rival Thiel.
