Grove City rolls past The Rock, 6-3

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team closed the 2006 season with a 6-3 victory over NCAA Division II member Slippery Rock Wednesday afternoon. Grove City (9-2) won two of three doubles matches and four of six singles contests.

The Wolverines, who clinched the Presidents' Athletic Conference title last Saturday in Erie, wrapped up their seventh straight winning season. Grove City has posted 18 straight seasons with a record at or above the .500 mark.
