Grove City earns road win

ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team opened the 2008 season with an 8-1 victory over host Penn State Behrend Friday afternoon in a non-conference match at the Pennbriar Club. It is Grove City's first season-opening win since 2004.

Grove City (1-0) swept all three doubles matches Friday. The Wolverines have now won four straight matches, dating back to the 2007 season.

Grove City will visit Mount Union Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m.
